Memorial Day Observances in Crestwood

Crestwood continues its long-held tradition of honoring Memorial Day with full parade and the ceremony open to all.

SCHEDULE for MAY 27, 2024

By 9:30 a.m. Veteran cars line up at St. Eleanora’s Lane. If you have a Classic car or Jeep, please join the motorcade; do not need to be a veteran. Motorcade end near American Legion Plaza. Park cars at Crestwood Metro-North Station. Contact us to be in the motorcade.

By 9:40 a.m. Marching Groups arrive and line up at St. Eleanora’s Lane. Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Knights of Columbus, etc. Click here for Line of March.

10:00 a.m. Parade begins.

Neighbors line streets. Waving American flags and holding patriotic signs is encouraged! See MAP for parade route.

10:25 a.m. Veterans park at Crestwood train station and walk to American Legion Plaza for veterans-only ceremony.

~10:35 a.m. Memorial Day Ceremony at American Legion Plaza (Vermont Terrace & Thomson Street) All are welcome!

11:15 a.m. Poppies available American Legion Plaza.
