Memorial Day Rainy Day Plans...Parade Cancelled; Ceremony moved to Annunciation School Gym
Indoor Schedule & Logistics

Anyone bringing cookies or baked goods may drop them off beginning at 9:00am, or when you arrive for the ceremony

Groups for display/information tables should set up by 9:00am

Marching groups should arrive by 10:15am and line up in the school hallway. Please use the playground parking lot.

Neighbors are welcome to arrive by 10:25am. Please also use the playground parking lot.
Schedule
10:30 AM — Indoor Procession
Color Guard, Veterans, all Scouts, and participating groups will process from the school hallway into the gym.
10:35 AM — Memorial Day Ceremony begins
11:15 AM — Refreshments & Fellowship
Veterans, families, and neighbors are invited to gather for refreshments and community fellowship following the ceremony.
Although the parade will look a little different this year, we are grateful that our community can still come together to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Our appreciation to Fr. Grippo and the Annunciation-Our Lady of Fatima Parish for their support.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MARCHING GROUPS
Where to Get Dropped Off
Marching groups line up near Schultze Field and Annunciation Church/School. Enter "19 St Eleanoras Ln, Tuckahoe, NY 10707" in your GPS
Yonkers Police Traffic Division will direct all vehicles.
Anyone dropping off marchers, Please discharge your passenger at the barricade and turn left onto Brosnan Place. You may drive and park near the parade route.
All cars driving in the veteran motorcade will be permitted past the barricades. Round-trip transportation will be provided for veterans who use one of the convertibles in the motorcade.
9:30am Motorcade cars arrive and park on right side of St. Eleanora's Lane. Veterans to be assigned to your vehicles.
9:45am Marching groups arrive and line up. Parents of scouts will drop off their children. Scout leaders will be in charge of the scouts. Parents/siblings will leave and line the parade route.
10:00am PARADE begins.
ROUTE: St. Eleanora's Lane, right onto Westchester Avenue, left onto Pennsylvania Avenue, left onto Thompson Street.
Approx. 10:30am CEREMONY held at the American Legion Plaza (near the Crestwood Train Station). Seating to be provided for Veterans. All others are welcome to bring a folding chair.
Approx. 11:15am CEREMONY ends, followed by Refreshments
11:45am RETURN TRIP FOR VETERANS Veterans who need a ride back to their car at Annunciation should meet at the stage at 11:45am. A driver will get you back to your car at Annunciation.
